The Research and Development Station for Viticulture and Vinification Blaj (SCDVV Blaj), founded in 1946 in Crăciunelul de Jos, is a leading institution in Romanian viticulture and enology. Located in the Târnave vineyard region of Transylvania, it plays a key role in modern viticultural research and innovation. Governed by Law 45/2009, it operates under the Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences "Gheorghe Ionescu Șișești" in Bucharest and contributes to national agricultural research.
