Research assistant, RA
Emilia is a graduate of the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology and an Electronics and Telecommunications Engineer specialized in Applied Electronics who enjoys working with technology and building practical engineering solutions. She is interested in embedded systems, smart devices, and projects that combine hardware, software, and data to solve real-world problems. Emilia enjoys exploring new technologies and developing systems that transform ideas into functional prototypes. This passion came from her bachelor thesis which involved the design and development of a portable air quality monitoring device integrating multiple environmental sensors within an embedded hardware–software system. During her studies, she developed strong foundations in electronic systems, telecommunications technologies, and applied electronics.
Emilia technical expertise includes applied electronics, embedded systems development, sensor integration, RF signal analysis, and hardware–software prototyping. She is currently working at ELI-NP and I have experience in applied research activities involving radio-frequency (RF) signals for particle accelerator systems, as well as in the development and integration of hardware–software systems for embedded and IoT applications. She has experience programming embedded platforms such as C/C++, Arduino, ESP32, and Verilog, working with data processing tools like MATLAB, and managing relational databases including MySQL, Oracle, and Snowflake.
Emilia enjoys experimenting with new technologies, and continuously improving her technical skills. She is curious, motivated, and enjoy collaborating with others in environments where ideas can grow and develop into meaningful solutions. Her goal is to contribute to projects in areas such as embedded systems, IoT technologies, and advanced electronic systems, developing solutions that have practical impact.
