Florian Răzvan Gagionea

Research assistant, RA

Florian-Răzvan is an Electronics and Telecommunications Engineer, graduated from the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology at the National University of Science and Technology "Politehnica" Bucharest. Driven by a fascination for how modern connectivity can simplify life while challenging the human mind, he focuses on the intersection of advanced telecom technologies and intelligent electronic design.

He brings a rigorous research background to the team, having spent nearly a year as a Research Assistant at IFIN-HH within the Applied Nuclear Physics Department. Working at the TR-19 Cyclotron, Florian-Răzvan honed his ability to master complex, unfamiliar systems under high-precision requirements, developing a keen eye for detail and a disciplined approach to technical challenges.

Currently, his research interests are evolving toward the synergy between biomedical engineering and IoT. He is particularly passionate about developing smart recovery devices and health-monitoring systems that bridge the gap between sports science and electronic innovation. Whether it’s optimizing a sensor network or designing a medical-grade wearable, he aims to build solutions that provide meaningful, real-world assistance.

Known for his calm and patient demeanor, Florian-Răzvan is a dedicated team player who thrives in collaborative environments. He believes that the best engineering solutions come from a positive group dynamic and a shared eagerness to explore the "what ifs" of technology.
