The internship is intended for third-year students interested in emerging technologies in the fields of intelligent systems, communications, and autonomous systems. The program aims to encourage the exploration and application of concepts related to AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things), telecommunications, TinyML, and autonomous systems, offering participants the opportunity to work at the intersection of hardware, software, and artificial intelligence.
During the internship, students will explore the development and integration of sensor-based intelligent systems, embedded platforms, and communication technologies, as well as the implementation of machine learning models optimized for resource-constrained devices. Activities include working with data from various sources, such as images, signals, and sensor data, and integrating them into systems capable of perceiving and interpreting the surrounding environment.
The program also involves the use of mobile or autonomous platforms, such as UAVs or USVs, for data collection and transmission, as well as the development of solutions for processing and analyzing this data within distributed or connected systems.
Throughout the internship, students will gain hands-on experience in designing and developing integrated applications, combining technologies from artificial intelligence, embedded systems, and communications, contributing to the development of intelligent systems capable of collecting, processing, and leveraging real-world data.
